Currently aiming procedure is manual and is slow. Consequently, accuracy is lack; projectiles deviations are of hundred meters and they can reach civilian settlements.
NTGS offers the solution: MAD 1, a system that allows aiming and shooting in a much faster way, with automatic calculations and by means of radio communications, avoiding shouting orders.
All data related to shooting tables, GIS systems and targets to defeat are stored in a BBDD of the battery leader’s computer. It is the leader who will assign the targets for the mortars and will send the firing orders. The computer communicates with those elements that have a GPS radio system and orientation and elevation sensors incorporated. In this way, aiming accuracy is acquired immediately.
